Surfers Paradise Beach
The Gold Coast’s most shining assets — sun, sand, and sea — are on full show along this renowned three-kilometer coastline. Despite the numerous buildings rising behind the beach and the many bronzed people soaking up the sun along its shore, it is a remarkably clean and attractive length. In the shallows, kids may splash around or construct sandcastles in the soft white sand. Surfers may surf the generally mild swells, and if you need a break from the sun, one of the numerous local stores, cafés, and restaurants can provide shade.
Lifeguards are on duty 365 days a year, however swimmers must always stay between the red and yellow flags. The beach is lit up at night for evening strolls.
The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets, which have over a hundred stalls offering everything from fashion, photography, and art to souvenirs and jewellery, attract bargain hunters every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday night.
